The Women Sculptors Foundation is a global community supporting women of all ages. While 3D sculpture is one area of special interest, the aim is to help encourage creativity, professionalism, growth and courage in all women.
The Foundation will sponsor WomenSculptors.com, a for-profit site where women artists of all ages can show their creation, talk, share, teach and work with each other. This site and the gallery, will both have individual work areas, and group areas. If new sites or areas are needed, the Foundation will be flexible to provide them. All will have a similar foundation of respect, courtesy, efficient processes, and a willingness to listen.
The Foundation will try to locate resources for women whatever they do. To be creative, you also have to live in the world. And for sculpture, particularly, we will try to help you find things you need. All are encourages to share what they find and learn with others.
If you are interested in donating, supporting, encouraging, or being involved in any way, there will shortly be a way here for you to talk to someone. This is just getting started. But it should grow. As a Foundation, the focus is on stability and long range vision, but not ignoring immediate needs.
